Cirrus Training is recommended for those seeking to leverage Cirrus more broadly and better analyse the information collected and presented by Cirrus. This course enables students to utilise the features and functionality of Cirrus to maximise control and visibility of the configurations of network devices.
Objectives
After completing this Cirrus course, the student should be able to:
- Effectively plan and install Cirrus Configuration Manager
- Populate managed devices
- Centrally manage network devices, including the automated backup and review/manipulation of managed device configurations
- Administer Cirrus features and user access permissions
- Configure and leverage the integration between Cirrus, Orion and SolarWinds Engineers Toolset
Prerequisites
To fully benefit from this course, attendees should have the following prerequisite skills and knowledge:
- Basic router and switch configuration administration experience
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks and manageable network devices
- Understanding of basic database concepts and graphical user interface tools
